How my Journey began
We began making sea salt in 2019 as Christmas gifts and quickly developed a love for early Japanese wood fired evaporation methods. As time passed this allowed Ian to leave his VA job and care for the kids between salt batches and experiment with different methods. Emily sells the salt at various markets and flavors all the salts with herbs from our garden and Vietnamese pepper corns. She also makes some of the finest smoked salts! We have struck an even keel and catered to our strengths to achieve our current business model.
Having established a renewed friendship with the Lord we began the journey from LLC to nonprofit in 2024. With a healthy family and a good roof over our heads we have decided we are blessed beyond our material needs. This allows the company to use funds raised to support various causes.
